Worst public transit I've ever dealt with. Buses are always late or early. There's never enough trains. Traveling on a Sunday? Take Uber, unless you want to spend 2 hrs getting to your destination. Marta, as a whole, is a joke. Worst customer service given to you. The bus drivers are always in a bad mood and take it out on you.

This evening of May 6, 2012 around 6:55 pm, I was taking Marta from Peachtree Station to my next stop.Traveling with my sister I swiped my Marta pass right after hers as I always do, but not without checking to make sure it says "0 rides left" I proceeded through the gate until a Marta Employee by the name of Vivian George called out from behind the other side of the gates "Hey you in the back, come back here!" I replied "Me?" And she says "Yea you!" She asked for my Marta pass and I asked why, as I took it out of my bag. With no answer she snatched it out of my hand and swiped it and the gate did NOT open. She gave me back my pass and I asked " My pass went through, right?" And with no answer after I repeated the question she waved her hand to shoo me away and said "Good Day to you". I said " I want to know if my pass went through with 0 rides left" And she finally answered me with an attitude then walked away. I felt completed disrespected. I asked the police officer standing by for her name since I could not come back through the gate, he let me through so I could ask her myself, and she still had an attitude when I tried to ask for her name. I have been riding Marta for almost 3 years and I have never had an encounter such as this, the way your employee dealt with a customer is in explainable and disgusting. There is no reason for me to steal $2.50 from Marta, for I have never stolen anything in my life. The snappiness in her tone, her accusatory demeanor as well as her dismissal of a paying Marta user is appalling. If this is how your employees treat people who ride the Marta then customer service seems to be overlooked in training.

Nice for lunch runs. But the Tim between trains is in my opinion a little too long.

I use Marta as part of my daily commute. Outside of that I would have little use for the service. People should remember that during last months snow storm, Marta trains were not only the best way to get around Atlanta, it was for a period the ONLY safe, reliable to way get around
