Interesting decor plus indoor and outdoor seating at this restaurant/bar provide some great options depending on what kind of mood you're looking for. Solid selection of tequila options for a Mexican restaurant. Margaritas are fantastic here as is the outdoor rooftop space! Would love this place except they don't serve any food upstairs so if you're wanting to get a bite and a drink at the same time it is a pain... Bonus points, it's connected to a hotel called Pod which looks pretty innovative.

While overpriced, Salvation Taco is very tasty in an atraditional kind of way and has a relaxed vibe. I had one of the tortas, an asian pork number, that was simply delicious and some exceptional guacamole. If there's one other negative other than the price, it is the bizarrely long trek to the bathrooms, so give yourself some time to find it.

Snappy waiters and spicy margaritas make this a much-discussed yet often crowded Midtown joint. Prices are steep, however, but that should be expected when there's a rooftop involved. Particularly on pleasant Friday evenings there is a long wait to take the elevator up if you don't arrive early. I'd skip the guacamole: The portion is far too small for its $9 price tag.

I've been here twice now. The first time it was very crowded and I was waited on by a manager while sitting at the bar. I can sum up that experience in that drinks took forever to receive. Food was pretty good and prices rather high for what you get. Tonight I decided to try again (with a friend) and this time it was early, 5:30, so it was not busy yet. The waitress (I believe her name was Emily) had the personality of a wet rag. I even caught her roll her eyes after asking us if we wanted dessert. This place has great potential but I think they need new management to put some spark in their staff. There are a lot of people working at less expensive places that do a better, friendlier job that would probably appreciate the opportunity to work there.

A unique take on Mexican food. Really enjoyed their Spicy Pork Loin Torta. Friendly staff too.

Service was great, the food was incredibly tasty. Great vibe in there too, really liked the layout of the restaurant. I did think it was pretty pricey compared to other places I'd dined on my trip.
