Jai Angeloni: Hello, sorry to change topic but i have a question

I Have burn't Ubuntu 13.04 to a DVD and have it running on my Apple MacBook. Now I Want to install Ubuntu without harming OSX. I Have Created a partition on OSX which i would like to install Ubuntu On. Is it possible to install Ubuntu on that partition that was made by OSX and if so How?

Imri Paloja: No. You need to format it with the ubuntu installer to ext2/3/4 or something else that Ubuntu supports. as far as i know, hfs+ partition are not supporterd. To be certain you should really ask this on askubuntu.com.

Remko van der Mijde: Is ubuntu compatible with touchscreen pc's? Or is Ubuntu working on touchscreen software?

Tomáš Muchka: I'm using tablet PC (Gigabyte TouchNote T1028X) with ubuntu since 9.10. At first with UNR and now with unity. So far so good, it's not designed for touchscreen controll, so you cannot use it all the time as tablet, but for most usual actions it is quite touchable :-).

Philipp Gassmann: The answer was given in following "Ubuntu on Air" hangout: Ubuntu on Air!

Philipp Gassmann: Unity Webapps work in Firefox and Chromium, and they could be made to work in other browsers as well. There's a library that encapsulates most of the code to write an extension. Chromium that you can download from everywhere will find the extension and load it. So you'll get basic webapp integration. There's a patch, that adds the ability to manipulate the list of integrated sites, but everything else will work without that patch.
Chrome will not find the extension. The patch for laoding extensions off the filesystem was merged upstream in Chromium an is in the latest release of Chrome, but it looks in a different path than where the extension is installed. If you would install the extension where Chrome would look at it should work. But webapps are not tested with Chrome.
