#50Things - No. 27 - Watch the Sun Wake Up.
Winter mornings mean the sun sleeps a little longer than usual, rising and shining later than it does the rest of the year. This is great news for people that don't like early mornings! We think Blea Tarn is one of the best places to see this colourful sight - just choose a clear dry morning - the rain will spoil the event!

A crayon drawing of our red squirrel looking a lot like Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot. Very dapper! Thank you Sandy from Cockermouth, we're liking the detective look.
