This Kickstarter just went live. I've been riding one of the prototypes for the past month. It's real and it's cool.
Need a great performing city bike to take with you anywhere & everywhere, that fits you & your mobile life? The pakiT is the answer!

I blogged about Bike Friday's new bike.
Today Bike Friday is officially unveiling the Pakit. I've been riding a prototype of this bike for the past month. I can assure you, it's real. I work at Bike Friday and over the past couple of decades we've built and shipped...

While I've never been as obsessed with weight as some of my speedier bike riding friends, I do understand why weight is important to a cyclist. On a bicycle the rider is the engine and any time the terrain goes up or you wan...

When my wife and I moved to Eugene last year we had to find a new weekly breakfast place. After about half a dozen tries, we found the Glenwood and found just what we wanted. Very good, hearty food. We almost always get "the Glenwood" but everything we've had there has been good. We had dinner there for my wife's birthday and my pasta was great, as was her steak. The staff has always been friendly and efficient. The place can get crowded on the weekends (especially if the Ducks are playing a home game) but the crew at the Glenwood gets your food to you quickly and makes sure your coffee or tea is topped out.
