Didn't have a big selection. I asked about the $5 lunch buffet. She told me turkey leg was extra, but everything else was $5. I tell her wanted the rib tips greens and yams. While I was waiting she yelled go down there to get rung up. She told this kid at the checkout $6.50. How a $5 lunch got to be $6.50 even Idk. Didn't ask paid left went home and was not good at all. Ribtips were obviously a few days old. Dried out smothered in sauce. More bone than meat. Small portions and over priced. Not going back!!

I had been wanting to try this resturant for awhile and when I finally stopped it was closed. The owner however was in the resturant cooking. He let us in and allowed us to sample what he had left to sell. He was very friendly and inviting. We also got huge portions and food was amazing. It definately worth going.

Mi Hungry was one of the best, most surprising dining experiences I've had in recent memory. The food is DELICIOUS and the service was fantastic. The woman who owns the place was so incredibly sweet and friendly. She knew we were new to the place and Jamaican food in general, so she gave us sample plates and really made us feel welcome and special. The BBQ pork, jerk chicken wings, and yams were perfection. You have to try this place!

My first time going to the restaurant, however, I have patroned his food truck located on N. Kingshighway, therefore, I can honestly speak from experience that the quality is very different. I actually prefer the Kingshighway location over the restaurant. Although, I was very excited to finally have a chance to eat at his restaurant, I found the food to be a little disappointing. The flavor was good if you are okay with sucking sauce from rib tip bones. The rib tips had little or no meat on them and the red beans and rice was kind of dry. However, the greens were decent considering they had no meat in them that I could see. Lastly, not only was the food pricey considering what I ordered, they did not put my desert in my bag, which I didn't realize until I got home. I, of course, called them to let them know, and spoke with Sean, who sounded really young. He claimed that I could come back next weekend, which is the earliest I can get over that way, and they would honor a store credit for another desert. I guess that's fine, but I got to see it to believe it. So not only am I out of $13 for meatless rib tips and dry rice, I didn't get my desert. Just really disappointed. BTW...there was no bread in my do you serve barbeque with no bread...and when I asked young Sean about that his response was that they normally serve a slice of cornbread but they were out and if I wanted bread I could have requested it. I guess I would have done that IF I would have known. SMH

Best wings I've ever had. We buy their jerk and reggae sauces to cook with at home. Totally addictive. Very friendly service.
