Oh... •shivers•...
the imagery with this song is eerie:
sensual yet vacant;
severe, while warm in sound and eloquent in gesture;
sumptuous, and viscerally starved.
Certainly stark, making merest glimmers of softness softer.
And, oh, the chilling beauty—
a haunting lyricism of form,
repeated and mirrored, hypnotically, narcotically—
without heat, yet with sensory, seductive elegance.
Entirely absent color, but for three blood red accents.
Cold Flamenco. Corporeal yet ghostly.
Such •power• is rendered in individual gestures,
while circular, reiterative choreography,
and spiraling paths inscribed in shadow-vines beneath feet,
suggest an endless eddying in cycles of fate
with no access to agency.

Kurdish Turkish singer Aynur Doğan performing in a hamam (Turkish bath) in the film ‘Crossing the Bridge’. Unfortunately, not much of this song appears here before interviews get dubbed over it. If anyone can help me find a complete recording of this song—or even its name—I'll be deeply obliged.
