Ground Breaker Brewing is a dedicated gluten-free brewery and gastropub. Every beer that we make is gluten-free, made in our brewery where no gluten containing items are allowed through the door. We brew, bottle, and distribute our beer from our production facility adjacent to the gastropub.

So good! Everything on the menu is gluten free, and everything that we ate was delicious. I had the cubano, which, if you're a fan of ham is a great choice. My husband had the crab roll and it was scrumptious as well. Our son even had the macaroni and tomato sauce and - basic as it was - it was pretty yummy. All around, great place to go if you're gluten free and you like good beer and tasty food.

Harvester is easily making some of the best food in Portland. The sandwiches are great and the menu is frequently updated. The beers are good and keep getting better. There's almost always something new to try on tap. Service is friendly and casual. Great place to hang out on a sunny day.

LOVED the beer, beer braised greens, salad w/hazelnuts & oranges, & choco chip cookie w/vegan coconut cream [deliciousness for short!] ONLY. The beers are good times, I would say even if you're not GF its more accurate to this of this place as a place that serves good beer that happens to be GF not "GF beer". There are some good adventurous offerings as well as standards. Our faves? The TomYum which is just a great beer w/flavors of lemongrass and chile without being too spicy [I like spicy tho!]. The beer braised greens I ordered as a side and they were nice and hot temp, delicious, well-seasoned beer braised [vegan] collard greens - I can't wait to try them as a full app w/cornbread! The choco chip cookie is great served nice & warm [oven fresh melty goodness] if you like chocolatey choco chip cookies [I don't but know *normal* ppl do!] & the vegan coconut cream that accompanies it? OMG! DIVINE! I would ask for double [next time!]. The salad w/hazelnuts was good, the hazelnuts were warm, there was some good chevre in it & the dressing was the perfect amount. <<< This stuff is amazing!!! I look forward to trying the braised fennel sandwich & cacao nib cake & other salads & pickles & sorbet! Now for pointers for some *other* menu items>>If you get the pizza let them know you want it served hot temp AND understand the crust is more like a GF biscuit that's pizza crust thickness. If you get the fried tofu ask that the dish is served @hot temp, broccolini + fritter are not overcooked or burned, AND understand the lentil fritters will be oily [no one can make a good fritter in PDX!] & this is NOT a stir fry it is a small dish [listed as entree] where the majority of veggies are inside the lentil cake!

Harvester has the best GF beers, period. Even people who don't drink GF beers will love them. And their food menu always looks delicous! Add this place to your list of breweries to visit, no matter what your preferences. I promise, your mind will open when you drink their brew! (Go for the coffee ale, or IPA #2 - but they're all good.)

This place is awesome! James is a master! Very friendly and informative, we had a great time talking with him about making beer. The cheese tray was tasty and the cornbread divine! Stop by for a pint or two, he makes gluten free fabulous!

Amazing beers. Not a miss on the entire menu. My friend and I didn't even know it was gluten free until we read through the pamphlet. This brewery knows what it is and does it well.
