Largest aquarium in the scandanavian countries. Its broken into 3-4 sections with a rainforestesque area and outdoor play area with sea lions viewing. This place is ok to go to. Good place for children, and something to do in Copenhagen, especially if you get the Copenhagen Card

It is a great place on the right days; It may appear like the perfect place to go on a rainy day in summer, but that is NOT the case. The architecture is much nicer than functional and you will wait for hours and see little when it is crowdy (rainy day in summer or weekend). On a quiet day, however, it is a great place to go with the kids. Beautiful displays, nice events and you can have a good quiet lunch in the nice restaurant.

Some really beautiful exhibitions, especially the large shark tank. It's a massive window. We attended the feeding of the fish in the shark tank, it was a bit of a disappointment I had expected a bit more of that. The actual feeding was over in in a few seconds. Also the guide only spoke danish. Even for me that speaks swedish it was difficult to cope with what she was explaining about the fishes in the tank. Apart from that the rest of the exhibitions have textual explanations in danish, swedish and english. If you have the "Copenhagen Card" the entrance is free making worthwhile to go here.

Summary: Overpriced, small, incomplete and disappointing. We went on a Wednesday and the place was full of danish school kids - incredibly loud and seemingly without any supervision whatsoever, running around the place and screaming. Several sections of the aquarium were closed, it felt like the place had not yet been completely finished yet, and information was missing for several tanks. Given the fact that this place was advertised as "northern europe's largest" and the fact that it is quite expensive, I was expecting something comparable with the London Aquarium or Kaiukan in Osaka. I was really disappointed - the building is fairly big, but there aren't that many tanks - most of it is just empty space! The overall feeling is that is seriously overpriced. I would strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere! If you are after an aquarium/tropical environment, I would recommend going to Universeum in Goteborg, Sweden. In my opinion a much better experience!

Overpriced... And the architecture is more interesting than the fish. They do have a gigantic aquarium that is worth seeing. They have a live show but i couldn't see anything as they built it so the sun blocks out just about everything. Too bad

If you have the Copenhagen card then this place is worth a visit, I see other people say it's very expensive. The children loved going around seeing all the sea life, spent the majority of the day here.

Very expensive and small. You can see everything in under one hour. The sharks are almost non existing. I COUNTED THREE SMALL ONES
