I'll keep this review sweet and short. First off, if you've never been to a Trader Joe's you're missing out and should definitely go. I'm giving this one four stars because 1/4 of the time, I'll have a lot of trouble finding parking and sometimes will have to park a block away at the Rockridge BART station. With the Trader Joe's on University, they have a parking garage behind the building which I've only had trouble finding parking once. However, if you're able to avoid the traffic going down College, this location can be a little more convenient to bike/bus to. Other than that, I love this place and it helped me get through college!

Love this Trader Joe's. I shop here all the time. The location is very convenient and have never had problems with staff. I'm new to California and they have always been helpful in helping me find things I'm looking for. For those bringing up race, I'm half-Hispanic but look Asian.

Good ole' TJ. I love this place, and I especially love how it is conveniently located next to Rockridge BART station. After work, I can grab some grocery items, and make food for the week, instead of wasting all my money eating out. Thank you TJ!

Excellent and spacious TJs, good sample station. Fine goods at bargain prices. Nice staff, plenty of parking, Zachary's pizza nearby with excellent lunch slices for take out.

This is the TJ's to go to on weekends. They could do a better job organizing their check-out line, but they got the whole parking thing licked. Very friendly and well laid out with all the usual TJ goodness.

If you've ever thought that Rockridge/Berkeley was full of self-righteous, pretentious and annoying faux-hipsters, then avoid this Trader Joe's - it will confirm all of those stereotypes quickly. Also, parking here is bad/impossible.

Went down to Trader Joe's this morning in Rockridge to do some shopping. Saw there was a street fair went for stroll to check it out. I saw a friend. We had some coffee. Came back to finish my shopping and Trader Joe had towed my truck. I guess I was gone for longer than the 90 minutes... but here is the thing that gets me... there were like 20 spots available. Some employee at Trader Joe's just thought this guy must be a street vendor or something and decided to be vindictive.... they didn't even need the spots. Obviously not shopping there anymore.

Employees are very unfriendly, and unprofessional. I would have thought they were discriminatory because I'm a black female, and I was in Rockridge. Sorry Rockridge, it's not you. The checker was a black female and she looked at me like i was dirt when i entered the line. She did not greet me and when I said have a nice day, she turned and started talking to another employee. WOW!! and the supervisor was standing right there. Don't take your job for granted
