Ice cold beer and good food. The music was...well...Gay bar music. That is okay but a little more romance would work too. And very very good service!

Combine very slow service with mediocre food at a premium price and 2.5 stars is what I am going to be generous with...The Drag n Brunch show was fun and everyone was having a great time, but spending 1hr45min waiting for our food order and 1 drink refill was excessive!!

Easter sunday Drag show by Princeses was GREAT, she was very attentive! Service was good BUT our meals (although very reasonabe) were not very good, well my waffle seemed pre cooked & I expected a fried piece of chicken ( Waffle was overly sweet & DRY w/ OVERLY fried thin chicken chunks). My b.friends bbq/egg (Millionaire) plate was tasty (salty), Both dishes could had been hotter! For such a limited Brunch menu I did expect much better. I would go back for The Drag brunch but for cocktails, the show & maybe split a plate. Pretty place!

The best thing about Suzy Wong's House of Yum is the name. First, the service. Our waiter was friendly and helpful seeming, but dropped the ball in almost every way he could. He kept promising he would be right back to get us whatever we needed and then would disappear for huge spans of time and come back and apologize for forgetting whatever he was supposed to give us. He was nice but gave us pretty poor service. The menu descriptions did not match what actually came out on the plate. For example, I ordered a peanut chicken salad which promised chicken salad over shredded veggies. What came out was a huge bowl of shredded chicken tossed with unevenly and clumsily chopped onions and peppers and four sad, wilted looking pieces of some kind of lettuce. Disappointing. The same was true for my roommate's order, the hibachi grilled tuna. Basically, all style, no substance.

An overall average experience. The staff wss nice and helpful. The dragon roll was good as were the crab wontons (the bacon was a nice twist). The panko coated chicken tenders were good, although the peanut sauce did not have much peanut flavor and tasted more like hot mustard. The crab stuffed jalepeno poppers were extremely bland and disappointing. Two hits and two misses, but I say it is worth making another trip to try additional items.

WARNING: Had dinner at Suzy Wong's tonight and a glass was broken at the bar. No one bothered to check the area around our table. While leaving a small piece cut my foot. (I wasn't aware it was in my flip flop.) After notifying management, they were not concerned once they knew I didn't need stitches.

The food was very good as was the service. I was not fond of my seating, but it became comfortable enough. Our server was very attentive and the environment was lively but quiet enough for good conversation. I will definitely go back.
