Really impressed with your level 4 intro. Well done on the level 2 bit as well.

Also I didn't know you bought a controller just for this! Crazy.

If you can't do the level 5 axe jump too well at the start, you may as well just sacrifice one corpse on the first platform. Only takes a couple of seconds and will save you a bunch of deaths

I like the bit of 8:45. That's kinda what SRBR is about. I try and make it so you're never like "URGH THAT WAS SO UNFAIR", more like "Oh wow, that was /too/ fair" rofl.

Good luck!

Getting there!

The section that you said "I don't know how to do this quicker" with the moving block, what you can actually do is drop down instantly instead of walking on the block, and walljump up the thing on the left and go straight to the switch.

If you find that too hard you can drop down and land a corpse on the block, then land on your corpse and climb up.

Mate, as if you were at Insomnia again the whole weekend and didn't see me. We could've been train friends again.

How to make projectile launchers that calculate the angle of trajectory at launch instead of advancing by step.
I frequently get asked when I exhibit Super Rude Bear Resurrection how I managed to get Unity's physics to actually feel good for a platformer, and I've been asked for help on that note. I'm concentrating on development so I don't really have time at the moment to go back to square one and walk ...

A tutorial I wrote for GameDevTuts+
In this tutorial, we're going to simulate a dynamic 2D body of water using simple physics. We will use a mixture of a line renderer, mesh renderers, triggers and particles to create our effect. | Difficulty: Intermediate; Length: Medium; Tags: Game Design

Rude Bear Radio got featured by the AV Club / HBO.
Sawbuck Gamer is our daily review of a free or cheap game ($10 or less). Rude Bear Radio Creator: Alex Rose Platform: Browser Price: Free. Video games take so much time these days. Studios spend several years making them, and people complain when they takes less than 40 hours to play through.

Awwww, rofl. Hope you have a better day tomorrow.

Blocks shouldn't be RNG based btw, they start at the same point where you respawn. I suppose it's basically random the point you'll be at when you get to it at any given point though.

Landing your corpse on that block should be easier if you control your head after you die, you can push your body a bit. When you die, you can control your head with the stick.

Felt for you at the end, that's pretty rage inducing. You can always switch to LB/RB if A doesn't work, just aren't ideal. Although, LB is handy if you want to play the game one handed.

Ha, awesome. Sub 16 mins is pretty good. I'm up to sub 4 now, but I do end up playing for like 3 hours every day every time I go to a game show :P .

To us it looks like it's levitating because we can't see the wire, but you can't be sure that a dog can't see the wire, they have very different eyes.

Hey man, Alex Rose here. Thanks a tonne for playing. I did watch all the way through!

First, by the way, you misread the description at the start about the physics. It actually says "except without super tight physics", not with. :P

Cool find with the fairy not turning into the wizard! It was because you jumped all the way over that switch without touching it. The transformation sequence activates when you touch that spot.

Also, I was really, really hoping you'd notice. Look at 20:56, there's a door in the ceiling that's shut. Now look at 27:46. The ceiling is open! And then at 30:04, corpses had appeared, where people died in the shortcut route.

That route leads to the final battle where you may or may not turn Super Saiyan :P .

Anyway, I really enjoyed watching your playthrough. Thanks a lot!

You're right, I totally missed that the hatch was open. I assumed the new corpses were from people just standing there and letting the fairy kill them :(

I really enjoyed watching your run, cool to see that it is possible even without people opening shortcuts. However, even after watching it I doubt I could do all the wall jumping in the lava pit without dying. Well, not without dying 100 times first! Now, where is that winning run I was promised? You were killed!

Still, I had a lot of fun playing your game. Your gold medal was well-deserved. I might have to go back and try to beat it if no one has won yet!
