Having tried many Thai places in my time, I must say this place is the absolute best. From the amazingly ornate archway above your head when you enter the restaurant, to the delicious curries served in wooden handled saucepans, I was delighted at every turn. Melissa was awesome, and offered me a glass of delicious Thai Tea as soon as I sat down! I absolutely recommend it for anyone craving a taste of Thai.

Used to be good. When I ordered pad thai peanut with chicken, it came smelling like expired cheese and had a fishy taste...I could barely take a tiny bite. They were more than happy to re-make it, but I had to go. I won't be coming back unfortunately.

Waited for an hour and a half for my food, when it finally came out, it tasted like it just came out of a microwave oven. Plus the food is too expensive, not worth the money.

I'm updating my 4-year old review after having just returned from dinner here. Sadly, the stars will remain at two as this was yet another disappointment. The service was very slow this evening (it appeared they had only two servers) with the best part of the meal being the fresh spring rolls, but even then, the dipping sauce was a mostly bland concoction. If not for the crushed peanuts on top, this would've been pretty dismal as well. We ordered the Pad See Ew noodles with tofu. Not the typical moist, flavorful dish served up in most every Thai restaurant and not very flavorful. The tofu was dry and tasted like an afterthought that was tossed onto the plate after everything else had been cooked in the traditional sweet soy sauce. Once again, I requested they go light on the fish sauce. And once again, they didn't comply with this request. The main course was dominated by a strong fish flavor. The Tom Yum soup was decent, but could've used a bit more lime juice and less sweetness. Overall, another lackluster, disappointing meal. We won't be going back after tonight...this was the fourth strike in a row. The only redeeming quality here is the lovely decor and intimate seating options. Sadly, that's about it.

Wife and I enjoyed an excellent meal tonight celebrating our anniversary (each month). Atmosphere is warm and inviting with pleasant attentive servers. Menu variety very nice. Food is fresh flavorful & delicious. My lovely wife raves about this place & frequents it with her Zumba friends. Federal Way is blessed to have the Thai Bistro here, Please come & enjoy.10/20/12

I was backpacking in Thailand earlier in the year and when I got home it changed my perspective on authentic Thai. This place has been the closest I have found to ordering food off the streets of Bangkok. Fortunately, the atmosphere is nice and more upscale that some Thai restaurants in the SEATAC area. I was very specific as to what kind of chilies and sauces I wanted for my Pad Khee Mao and they had them all despite their surprise a white guy was asking for them. The prices are a little higher, but your money is going towards authenticity, talent, quality, atmosphere and servers that actually can speak Thai. Advice to Management: Don't change a thing, you guys rock.
