The jukebox doesn't play the songs you want until like hours later. I'd just cough it up to play it as the next song, or it really isn't worth it. Bartender was nice, crowd was a mix of old and young, with the old hitting awkwardly on the young. It's a little dive bar that we just ducked into. But the drinks were strong, and the shots cheap compared to NYC.

this legendary gem is the oldest bar on Hollywood Boulevard and has been in business since 1937 the current tenders are absolutely great (Joel and Ruben) their salty snack is jiffypop popcorn. the drinks are stiff and capacity is about 50 people and at 50 people it is a tight squeeze. a tall person could touch the bar and wall with arms spread.

Rare piece of real Hollywood. Left town for a while. You quickly realize the things you miss the most about your home town and this was one of them. Came back years later and literally the day I came back and went to my old haunts, I saw them carting W.C. Fields' booth out of Bordner's and putting in a giant dump truck to be carted away. There were a lot of places like that. I was getting really heartbroken. but...THE FROLIC LIVES! Exactly the same as it was. Thanks to the owners for keeping a small piece of Hollywood alive! Note: the only other place I found was Stephano's down the street. It was exactly the same, eerily so! :)
