Such a great atmosphere. Like a whole bunch of snugs connected together. Good food. Good pint.

Was here last night (20/12/14) for a family birthday dinner. Have eaten here before and found the food and the service very good. But this time we were very disappointed (but not in the Christmas decorations). The turkey and ham dinner was not REHEATED properly, therefore it was not hot enough. The sea bass was overdone and when we ordered a second round of drinks we had to ask the waiter twice for our 2 glasses of wine. Even at that we were on the verge of asking a third time.

Food not good (fish was full of big bones, couldn't eat it, have never been served fish like this in my life, serious hazard ), expensive, Service a let down, waited 10 min at a dirty table for a glass of water. Wouldn't recommend after all.

Best pub in Dublin. Guinness is outstanding, food is good and you can have wine from their wine shop with your food without paying any corkage.

Food very good, expensive (24€ = a portion of plaice & potatoes), service is bad. They added 2 glasses of wine on the bill - I had to complain, glad I checked.

Lovely bar with wonderful history and actual craft brews.
