Central to the College’s purpose is to: Inspire excellence. As part of the College’s commitment to excellence in our sporting programmes, we actively look to foster relationships within the community for the benefit of our students and the wider community. To this end we have formed strategic partnerships with organisations whose values align with those of the College and that can provide exceptional opportunities for our students, through access to expert coaching and competition, as well as help develop the sport in the region.
Coomera Anglican College is very proud to be partnered with the following leading organisations (pictured) and look forward to a very exciting and successful 2018.

We would like to thank Gold Coast Football Academy, Helensvale Swimming Club, Golden South Jaguars Netball and Northern Gold Coast Seahawks Basketball for their commitment to their respective sports, and their willingness to partner with the College for the benefit of our respective participants.

These partnerships align with our sporting academies, so if College families would like their child/ren to participate in the College sporting academy programme please see the College website for further details and registration:

Ever wondered what goes on at the College during the holidays? Well it is the first day, and on the building side of things, the demolition crews have already moved in to the Primary Campus, and there is a hive of activity. The Art/Chinese building is gone, and the administration and library areas are being stripped bare. Refurbishment works are also planned for the ELC toilets and Preparatory Year toilets, with this work to commence shortly. Refurbishment works are in full swing, and it is hoped that most work can be completed over the holiday period to avoid too much disruption to Term 1 2018.

Work on The Pod continues, with even some carpet being laid on the top floor. The internal fit out is coming along nicely. The furniture is expected to arrive around the 20th of December, so The Pod may very well end up being a huge Christmas present.

Stay tuned for further updates.

Once again our community is forced to deal with the poor choices of individuals that feel the need to damage property. If you recognise any of these tags please report it to CRIMESTOPPERS either by phone on 1800333000 or via the following web link.

Your help in tracking down the offenders would be a great service to the whole community. Thank you.

Work is progressing well with most of the key elements to the building really starting to take shape. We are even expecting carpet on the top floor next week. Excitement is really building throughout the College community, so stay tuned for updates. The Pod will be fully operational for Term 1 2018.

If you notice other preliminary works happening outside The Pod site, we will also soon be commencing refurbishment works in the Primary administration, current library space (which will become our new Primary Staff Room), and the Under Cover Area. Most of this work will happen over the holiday period, however there will be some impact for the start of Term 1 2018. More details will follow in the New Year.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
