April 15-21 is National Volunteer Week. We are proud to work for a company that takes volunteering seriously. In the first quarter of 2018, CHS employees national wide have logged 5000 hours of volunteer services...time that is paid by the company through our benefits program. Glad to be making a difference!

In addition to the $24,111 that CHS Primeland raised as part of Harvest for Hunger, we also collected 42,000 pounds of food. Yes, that is correct...Forty Two Thousand pounds. That is TRUCK LOADS of food!! And it all went directly to local food banks and right to those who need it the most. Thanks again for your generous support of the Harvest for Hunger program!

Another excellent look at the winter wheat conditions from the Van Trump Report. Lowest Good/Excellent ratings in a long time.

Great visual on the condition of the Winter Wheat crop based on USDA reports. Most states are in worse condition that last year. Thanks to the Van Trump Report for publishing this.

Excellent info on the flow of wheat from producer to one of many end users via the CHS system. The only difference for us in the Inland Northwest is that we ship to Portland via barge instead of rail like our neighbors in the Dakota's and Montana do. http://ow.ly/ZyKG30j2trz
