I come here with my three children just about every time we come 5 town to visit. Look for the package with mini golf and go karts on Groupon most come with a free photo of your family with the General Lee! You will have a blast looking at pictures of the cast all over as you play and don't forget to take pictures while you are there! We will see you kind people again next year!

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I walked into Cooter's expecting very little, but left with a smile on my face. My kids got a taste of the magic that is the Dukes. We had our family portrait taken while waiting our turn at the go carts. The photographer graciously took time away from crisply folding 01 t-shirts to make sure our photo was perfect. On the indoor go cart track, my family was able to feel the wrath of my drifting skills as I dominated the event. Don't equate the small track with small fun. We all left with smiles on our faces. Up to the second floor for some mini golf. What? 2nd floor mini golf? Damn straight. You would think it would be a couple holes - maybe 9. Nope. 18 holes of par 5 challenge. All while hearing the go carts chasing one another below. It's like a day on the links in Hazard County. "Gee," you say, "it sounds like you had a blast. Why not 5 stars?" Well, there was no option for 4.5 stars - which I would have given (5 if Daisy would have been there to give me a kiss on the cheek), but there was a small demerit for no public rest room. If you're expecting fireworks and Nitro Circus stunts, move along. But if you want to have some down-home family fun and look at memorabilia from a great tv show, Cooter's is your place!

Cooters was an awesome place to take our family. We enjoyed it so much. The family package was the way to go!

We went because my husband is a huge Dukes fan and wanted to see the memorabilia. If you are going for the "museum" then it's kind of a waste. I think he still saw a few things he thought were cool, but apparently you have to be a mega fan to enjoy their weak displays. We didn't do the putt-putt or go carts.

If you are a Dukes of Hazzard fan, this is a must-stop place for you! It is owned by the actor who played Cooter, and there is a lot of old memorabilia, the General Lee, and several of the other cars used in the show. Even better, it's free!
