Best breakfast spot in Durham Region, and isn't bad for lunch either. I was introduced to Angelique's years ago by a friend, and have been visiting regularly ever since. Occasionally there is a line up out the door and on to the sidewalk, but the turnaround inside is quick and I've never waited more than 10-15 minutes. The service is extremely fast and the waitresses are all pleasant. It's all fast-paced, but I've never felt rushed. The portions are gigantic; I've never left without a take-home container. If the menu says 3 eggs, you're sure to receive 4-5. Delicious, fast, pleasant.. I'll be coming back as long as it's open!

Forget the franchises... There is no better place in Ajax to get breakfast than Angeliques. On top of the quirky, homespun decor, the service is always friendly, full of smiles and conversation... but, charm aside, any of the locals will tell you that it's the food that will keep you coming back... And to bring your appetite. Don't let the small line ups on the weekend to get in, fool you.. They are experts at turning tables, without sacrificing service or quality... If you've never been, you'll thank me...

the best place i have ever been for breakfast. SO much variety, HUGE portions, and such amazing price points. They have something similar to the grand slam at dennys and its only 11 bucks with a lot bigger portions. And their omlets are massive, layered with so many toppings, and so many options. Cant recommend this place enough, it is very busy tho so always keep that in mind, but worth the wait and once you are seated it doesnt take long at all to get your food.

Incredible brunch experience! For such a small restaurant, they get people in and out quickly though be warned of the 15-20 minute wait at the door for groups larger than two. Huge servings, very affordable prices, friendly and fast service!

I think Robert is a very unhappy individual. I have had nothing but a good experience for years at Angelique's. I was saddened to hear that Peter had sold the business and retired. I am sure the new owners will take the reins and not change things. Why change something that works. PS: Robert cheer up , life gets better.
