Love the violin (of course). Vocals need much more energy. Story not completely told. FAIL

The prelude was far too long and boring, and I'm sorry to say that while the violin was one of the better parts, the riffs were putting the song into minor scale which hurt the song as much as the lack of energy in singing.

Wow, Def Leppard makes the metal cut but The Who- whose original banging drums and rough teenage angst view laid the groundwork-didn't.

+David Heilman While I agree these documentaries did leave out a few early bands who do deserve mention. The who, Deep Purple, etc.. But As for Def Leppard, Their first 3 albums were pretty close to metal. They did soften up with their 4th album, Hysteria yes.
