The California Association of Realtors conducted a survey to determine if staging a home increase its sales price. Home stagers and real estate agents are

Here's a great primer on how NOT to take photos if you want your listings to attract buyers on line!
Yes, listing photos are the great equalizer when it comes to selling a home. And they're more important than ever, but that doesn't mean everyone's doing them right. Here are a few tips for taking great listing photography (some are more obvious than others):

Interesting flooring choices for those who enjoy being a bit different.
Time to redo the floors? Confused about what to put down? There was a time when the only legitimate answer was hardwood. But today the options are endless. Here are a few you might want to consider.

What do you think? Is sage green a color for you?
Gray continues to invade every space and surface of our homes as the modern-day neutral (aka beige replacement). But other hues continue to bubble up, providing options for those looking to inject a little personality into their space. The latest color trend: olive green.

Why are we not surprised? And they vote - for Hillary.

Powerful words of wisdom...
In my book Million Dollar Habits I wrote at length about the dangers posed by Drain People, those who drain others of time, energy, peace of mind, and, all too often, money. Unfortunately, there are no statutes on the books outlawing the actions of Drain People. The only foolproof defense against them is to keep …

This is scary, given the number of people who take it routinely.

Without the media (and politicians) to fan the flames, racism might become a non-issue.

Realtors - No, your company website is not "good enough" to promote your own career.

And why the blank did our Congressmen (and women) go along with it?
I want to know why everyone was laughing as these horrific facts and not rioting in the streets. When are we the people going to take charge and take responsibility for what we as a country are allowing to happen with our best reaction to treat everything as a joke?

Let my words help build your business...
Introduction
I'm a freelance copywriter - I specialize in writing for the real estate industry, but also enjoy helping other kinds of small businesses make more money!

I write web copy, email campaigns, postcards, newsletters, press releases, and prospecting letters.  In fact, I have an entire set of real estate prospecting letters available for agents on a budget.

One of my favorite projects is writing agent bios - taking their past experiences and tying them to the reason why they are superior agents.

When I'm not writing, I'm enjoying time with family, curled up with a good murder mystery, playing with my dogs, riding a horse, taking photos, or working in the garden.
Bragging rights
I'm not much for bragging about my accomplishments. So let's just say I shook up the town a few times while raising two fine sons.

A great little store where I do almost all of my grocery shopping. Everyone in the store is friendly and helpful, which makes for the perfect shopping atmosphere. The only times I've encountered unfriendly checkers I haven't seen them twice. Manager Ken knows how to run a store filled with happy customers and checkers - kudos to him. You can get cheaper prices on some things by driving all the way to WalMart and Ponderay, but you lose the savings in time and gasoline.
