Symptom 10 of 21 – Nerve Problems

When our bodies don’t have sufficient magnesium and there’s excess calcium, this causes sustained nerve excitation in all nerve cells within the body.

Ensuring sufficient magnesium helps to alleviate the following nerve disturbances:

• Burning
• Muscle weakness
• Numbness
• Paralysis and sensitivity
• Pins-and-needles sensations
• Seizures and convulsions
• Twitching
• Vertigo and confusion

Reminder! If you suspect you’re magnesium deficient, talk to your Naturopath or Doctor so they can explain how nutrients, such as calcium and magnesium work together.

Symptom 13 of 21 – Osteoporosis

It can be a balancing act for how our body best absorbs and utilizes different vitamins and minerals.

It is common for those who have been diagnosed with osteoporosis to use calcium with vitamin D in order to enhance calcium absorption. However did you know use of calcium with vitamin D without a balancing amount of magnesium can cause further magnesium deficiency? In this case, magnesium deficiency can potentially lead to bone loss.
