NY mayor DeBlasio has a plan for “creating strong incentives for building owners receiving city financing for new construction or substantial rehabilitation,” and “to pass legislation requiring multi-unit housing to have a smoking policy and to disclose it to residents and prospective residents. To complement this, we will explore opportunities for the adoption of other smoke-free housing policies in New York City.”

As salacious as the media is making out the #AshleyMadison hack to be, it's really just highlighting what security advocates have been saying all along: privacy may be an antiquated idea.
Online cheaters might deserve it, but the ease with which hackers can invade our privacy is a much bigger and wide-reaching issue.
