Response from the owner - 6 months ago
We have no reason to lie to our guests and we faithfully and dutifully honor all promotional offers and discounts; we also dutifully return calls when people leave a voice mail on the correct extension. Now and then we do discover messages on unused phone extensions, we have ten extensions, but only use 6 extensions for messages. It is possible that we refused a reservation due to limited staffing in out kitchen or due to the number of servers working that night or both situations may have occurred that evening. We have very large facility, but often only use two, three or four rooms on very slow nights and then may only have one or two servers working. During those occasions we must limit the number of reservations so that our guests with reservations receive the best possible service. If a couple walks in without a reservation we may refuse to serve them, or we might have a cancelation that allows us to accept the walk-in guests. I am very sorry Mr Miller did not understand the circumstances involved with his experience that evening. I cannot be more specific about the exact reason for his experience since we have no record in our data base of when he dined at our establishment.
