I love the atmosphere of this place! Not too many offerings for vegetarians, but what they do have for vegetarians is unique and tasty. They usually have specials online that make it much more affordable.

I had my wedding here and apart from no on site dressing rooms and mildly strict decorations rules(it's a historic building). I loved the experience the event planner who helped with all plans, gave me her time understood the things I expected. She attended the tasting for cake and meal. Was there on the day to make sure I ate at my own wedding, no craziness happened and i had fun with my husband. Even with last minute designs. I loved the variety of food and drinks. I enjoyed the dishes and had no complaints from guests. The bar was well stocked and catered to my guests. I had no complaints with the Briarhurst Manor on my wedding day.

The old mansion was a cool setting for dinner. The service was good, but the server was not quite as polished as I would have expected for what is billed as a fine-dining establishment. The food was good, but some things were a bit off. For example, the fried onions that topped my steak were chewy, not crispy. The vegetables were a bit under-cooked. These wouldn't be big deals at most places, but a restaurant that boasts about its food should be able to get those things right. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and will be going back again someday.

Service is good as is the food, just not worth what they charge for it.

We recently had our wedding at the Briarhurst and it was amazing. The food was unbelievably delicious, the staff was incredibly helpful and Alison helped myself and my husband with every last detail. She made the wedding go so smoothly. We recommend anyone looking for a wedding venue to go here. Thank you to everyone at the Briarhurst for making our wedding day perfect!

I went here for my anniversary of five years and the hosts and servers were more than accommodating. The atmosphere and decor transports you into a different era and the food makes you feel special. We asked for a lot of odd little things to add to the meal and they were quite gracious. They made our special day even more special. We enjoyed a five course meal with help of a Groupon=)

I attended a wedding here recently. The bride was happy with Briarhurst because they offered a complete wedding package and she's been too busy with school to coordinate everything. The outdoor wedding venue is nice enough. It has a white gable and Briarhurst provides wireless microphones for the bride. groom, and the person officiating the wedding. It is a bit close to two roads so that is a minor annoyance but nothing major. The inside dining room / dance area is a bit underwhelming. It felt kind of like a cafeteria or a buffet restaurant but the settings were nice. There is also a small bar that serves alcohol. The food was presented nicely though overall it was somewhat mediocre. This may have to do with the cost of the wedding package however so I can't comment much more in that regard. Overall it was a nice wedding venue, the staff was incredibly courteous, there were no major issues and the wedding went off without a hitch. I think this would be a good option for a couple wanting to get married but not wanting to go through the hassle of arranging every little detail.
