Teaser Answer:
The 3-letter words from yesterday's teaser (using only the bottom line of the QWERTY keyboard plus a vowel) were:
1) a young beast = cub
2) combine = mix
3) confuse = vex
4) prohibit = ban
5) decieve = con

Thanks to everyone for posting your own clues - some great ones there - have a look at yesterday's post and see how many you can solve straight away!

Can you work out these 3-letter words?

And the answers are:
1) 3 3 5 4 4 ? 5 - the missing number is 3 Each number in the sequence represents the number of letters in the numbers one, two, three, four, five, six, seven etc.
2) 1 11 21 1211 111221 312211... the next number in the sequence is 13112221 Each number describes the digits of the number preceding it - 'one one', 'two ones', 'one two, one one' etc. So the new number describes 312211 as 'one three, one one, two twos, two ones'.
Well done if you managed to work those out. All those in favour of an easier puzzle next week say 'aye' below!

Hints for yesterday's number sequences:
1) Try counting and you'll see, this sequence is as easy as 1, 2, 3! (3 3 5 4 4 ? 5)
2) For this one, think 'Catchphrase - Say what you see'! Apply this to each number in the sequence to reveal the key! (1, 11, 21, 1211, 111221, 312211, ?) Answers coming later....

#TuesdayTeaser - there's nothing like a quick number puzzle or two to cool you down!!
1) What's the missing number in this sequence? 3 3 5 4 4 ? 5
2) What's the next number in this sequence? 1, 11, 21, 1211, 111221, 312211, ?
'Like' when you know the answers but don't give them away! Can you carry on either sequence further? Hints coming tomorrow morning, answers tomorrow evening
