Everyone wants their website to be at the top of page 1 for their keywords, but not everyone is willing to put in the time needed to make it happen.

We decided to take blogging more seriously by blogging 1,000+ word articles, and blogging at least once a week, twice a week on occasion. It takes a big investment of time, but it worked.

Does your web designer know more than the tip of the SEO iceberg?

When prospects ask us for information on Search Engine Optimization, we're happy to share information. But we often wonder: how much detail does someone really need to know? Or conversely, how much detail do they really WANT to know? It obviously varies among individuals, but we've found most people really don't want to know the gruesome details of SEO.

Being a Columbus website design firm, we know that including all the details of an SEO plan would make people's eyes glaze over. So it's up to us to determine which prospects are "low information" deciders, versus which are "high information" deciders (just like voters!).

Then there are those folks who might even secretly wonder...

Supposedly, Google makes 600 or so updates a year to their search engine. Some are major, most are minor. Since Google never tells the world the details of these changes, it's up to the SEO-world to figure them out.
While many can be seen and modifications made on those observations, some are A/B tested for true documentation. Some, we read about on blogs and some our clients experience first hand, so as a Columbus web design firm, we get an inside look at what Google likes and doesn't like.
