One of my recent photos has been purchased and is being sold by Deseret Book, both in stores and online! Pretty pumped about it!

Although their product picture is decent at best.

Anyone know why the sky looks like this when I convert to srgb in photoshop. Doesn't show up with the black in the sky anywhere else. I think it might be showing the colors that are getting clipped. No idea though. Any help would be great.

It looks like sever banding. When you convert from a higher bit quality to a lower quality adobe has less info to calculate gradients. Normally you can use photoshop gradients and rework the sky but this...... I'm not sure how to fix.

Anyone know why the sky looks like this in photoshop when I convert to srgb? I am assuming these are colors that are getting clipped in that color profile. I just want to make sure it won't print like this if I send to a lab that only accepts srgb.

Twice a year the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon Church) holds a weekend long conference. Yesterday was fantastic. Here is a link to the live stream today.

This is what the photo actually looks like. . . at least people in stores can see the real deal.

Pano on Lake Powell.

19 total photos used.

I love the SouthWest.

Sorry for the link - it was too big and G+ didn't like it. I will make it smaller and upload later when I have some time.

Assuming that the issue stems from the conversion process and not some other issue, it looks like there is a sampling error occurring in the conversion process that is creating artifacts in the gamma channel (likely clipping - shift is far far left - not a lossless conversion). Here are some articles that might offer you some help in diagnosing the problem.

Introduction
I love life. I have a great wife and kids. I am truly blessed. For the past several years I have had the privilege being a partner in one of the most successful wedding chapels in Las Vegas. Chapel of the Flowers I am personally responsible for all things technology, web, and photography related. I manage our web designers and developers, manage and train the photographers, and help push us forward with technology.

One of the greatest complements I have received is from my friend +Sam Curren. He told me I that I know what I don't know. I try to surround myself with smarter and better people in everything I do, to push me and my business forward. The greatest example of this is my loving wife, she is far better than I am, and patient enough to help me improve.

My latest venture is HDR photography. I have been traveling as much as possible and making photographs of Landscapes, CityScapes, and LDS Temples. I recently launched Temples By Tyler with my older brother, who is helping to market and push us forward.

Above all though, my greatest joy is in my home. I really do have a blessed life, and the main blessing is my family and my faith.

At first I was not sure that my kids would get that much from a swim school, or that it would be worth the time and effort. All 3 of my kids LOVE this swim school and have learned so much. My 5 year old asks all the time if we are going to swim today. My 2 year old was really scared at first, but the teachers were caring and patient and now he loves the water and putting his face in and swimming. My 9 month old has also loved it, he gets so excited when he sees the pool and really loves swim lessons. I would recommend to anyone even thinking about swim lessons. They are the best. Our kids went to Water Wings before (which is why I wasn't sure lessons were worth the time and money) and we prefer All Star Swim Academy by far.
