Memory management in Android can be a bit complicated if the application has heavy media demands. The Booking.com Android application had an issue explicitly dealing with memory management that required some ingenuity to give our users the positive experience we wanted to give them.

I scanned negatives at this lab, and results are very far from good. The sharpness is OK, but the color balance and detail in highlights is worse than I did myself by scanning with DSLR. One of the shot was blurred, because the frame has been moved during scanning, there is no blur on original shot. And hey - the files are in jpg format, that was weird.
