Happy hour is mon-fri 3-7pm!!!! And they do sun-thur 10- to close!! Extensive menu, so much to choose from and many drink options too. This is a great place to have some cheap drinks with friends, and the cookie pizza is out of this world!

Pretty dreadful service. Never got around to the food. We have been going to BJ's in Century City on and off for a few years now. Not so much for the quality of the food, but for the convenience. However, last night, with my children and their grandparents, we went. Now, you'd think on a Friday night, they'd be ready to meet the demand, however, there was no wait and the staff had the energy of a methadone clinic. Although there were plenty of open tables, the greeting hostess seemed completely flummoxed by the fact that we had five people in our party and the booths accommodated only four (thinking outside of the box would have put us on the terrace, pushing two tables together, but I guess she wasn't paying attention in her high school geometry class six months ago). We said we would take a table of four....with a chair (think different). Another five minutes later, a different, though also notably indifferent hostess (this one with the inflection of Ben Stein) kept repeating "table for four?" Realizing no one else was waiting, we assumed she was droning on about our table. Waited 15 minutes for a drink order that never came. When we asked a waiter if we could order drinks, he cheerfully said he would get our waiter, but she never came. We then asked the busboy and he cheerfully said he would look into it. We waited another 15 minutes. Be patient and you'll cheerfulness. Eventually, we realized there was food court...where we could serve ourselves. We told the Mensa-hostess what happened; she smiled rrrreally nicely. Look, we know this isn't Bouchon. We know the seared ahi is some Gorton's Fisherman defrost dye job, but we hoped, at the very least, we'd be served. Oh well. I'll miss their Cream Soda.

Went to the one in the Westfield Mall in Century City. From the outside you would think it was a bit more "classier" restaurant. Well its not. Its essentially an Applebees/Chilis/Bennigans type style place. Let me say this first... Our waitress was great. Very polite, did everything she could do to make our experience enjoyable. The problem is she had to cover almost half the restaurant by herself which is ridiculously given we went on a Saturday night where most people would expect larger crowds. She did the best she could but we still had to wait for long periods to get another drink, get our food, even get our menus. But again its not a reflection on her, they were just tremendously understaffed. Food was average. As I said before it's just regular bar food. I'd even say the restaurants I mentioned beforehand were better. The drinks were good and strong so that was a huge bonus. Had it not been for the wait to get them, the night would have been even better. My recommendation is if you go, go sit at the bar and order food. You will probably get better service there because judging by the reviews as well, the service here is whats really lacking.
