I have returned from La Jolla, and am currently working on my newest photographer's travel guide. Starting this coming Monday, I will be sharing the images I made in La Jolla over the course of a one (possibly two) week series. I was so excited about the first image in the series, I couldn't wait until Monday. So here is a sneak peek for the G+ community.

Photographer's Note: This is Scripps Pier as it is seen from the the administrative offices overlooking it. I shot the image using a Nikon D700, Nikkor 24-70mm 2.8, mounted on a Really Right Stuff Versa 24. The exposure was around 2 minutes. After performing the RAW conversion in ACR, I used Nik Silver FX Pro to manage the B&W conversion.
