I've used their services a few times. Once in an emergency situation to jump a battery. They did well there. But last year I bought an Interstate battery from them for my Acura TL. That went fine until the 3rd time the battery needed to be jump started again less than a year from the purchase of this 60-month warrantied battery. I drove the car to VA T&A. They tested the battery and said it showed in the normal range, so there was nothing they could do per the Interstate warranty. The manager advised me to call them the next time it the battery does not start the car, and they will come out to my car. At that point, they could see the battery is defective and bring me a replacement. Last weekend (about a year into the ownership of this battery), the battery drained again and the car would not start. I called VA T&A. They were nice, but did not call as they said they would. I called again, the manager was still there and said he'd stop by after he left work. He did. He witnessed the battery was drained. I told him what the last manager promised to do. (Of course, this promise was not in my service record. I saw him write it, but maybe he didn't save it or he deleted it.) This new manager tested the battery, which was barely in the normal range. I repeated the words of the manager from the previous manager. He said the bluetooth units and the AC units in Acura TLs have a tendency to drain the batteries. We jumpstarted the car and took it over to VA T&A so they could test the system to discover if anything was draining the battery unusually at the cost of $109. Nothing was wrong with our system, but they happily charged us for that recommended service and sent us away with the still defective battery. Not ever using the services of VA T&A again. Not ever buying an Interstate battery again.
