Good morning, all. As I mentioned a few days ago, I’ve started blogging again, this time with a schedule of weekly posts. Saturday posts round-up the week’s “must-click” news and opinion media. Monday posts offer a weekly column of sorts with an opinion piece. Wednesday posts, like yesterday’s, will be video-blogs, or “vlogs.” These will be the most free-form of the posts. I suspect that most Wednesdays, though, I’ll riff about what I’m reading. This week, I share thoughts about Ta-Nehisi Coates's National Book Award-winning "Between the World and Me"...

Howdy, all. I've started blogging again. On Saturdays, I'll be spotlighting pieces of news and opinion media -- readings, videos, podcasts, infographics, photos, etc. -- that have been essential to my own understanding and I think are worth sharing with you. Since it has been an unusually eventful couple of weeks, there's much more here than I imagine there will be in future "Must-Clicks." That said, I hope what is here is as helpful as it is extensive! Stay tuned for more about what kinds of posts to expect on Mondays and Wednesdays...

My latest article for Religion Dispatches looks at conversations about the Dharma, war, and peace that are currently taking place in American Buddhist circles -- including one that has come out of last week's historic gathering of Buddhist leaders at The White House.
