I love seafood so yeah joes is good. I've read a lot of comments here about the service at the quarry and I've never had a problem. The staff is super friendly and I'm not just saying that just because i know some of the employees

We were seated promptly. However, after 10-15 minutes, no server came to our table to take so much as a drink order or to advise they would be with us shortly. Thus, we left and went to Pappadeaux instead.

Went here for St.Patrick's day with my family. Waiter was very enthusiastic which is great for how we are. We had a chance to take advantage if their drink specials which is always a plus. We got to use a coupon for signing up online so our appetizer was free ☺ We did order a side of fried pickles which was my first time trying them. The dipping sauce was so so and wish they had a bit more of a crispier breading to them. I did like the fact that the manager stopped to greet us and made sure we were being taken care of. The food for us that night was yummy and we loved the music selection.

We celebrated my daughter's birthday last night and the service was terrible. The waiter met us at the door and just said sit "whenever". Which initially I thought was cool that he allowed us to choose. Then when he came over to take our order he rushed us a bit to give him the drink order. We needed more time to look at the menu. When he got our order he went missing. We needed refills and no one was in our area until he brought our starters. I asked about happy hour and specials and he was so dry and had very little info to offer. The food came to the table and was pretty good, but he was reaching across our plates to hand us the food vs placing it on the table. The point of this was the service was terrible. I asked what's the protocol for birthdays and he said "I don't dance OR sing" and that was that. It was NOT a great experience. I've been to the Riverwalk location once and the food was okay, but the service and vibe was incredible. The Quarry had great food, but the service was garbage. The waiter was a fail.

I was skeptical about coming here - I'm from the Gulf Coast, I like my seafood fresh, and I don't like restaurants that are loud or obnoxious. Joe's was surprisingly decent on all points! Our server Leo was a total gem, he gave me the down-low on what's good, helped me pick out a tasty steampot dish, and hooked me up with extra broth and some crusty garlic bread for dipping. If you're reading this, thanks man! The service was excellent, the staff was super friendly, and the music and dancing was actually pretty cute. I had the KB steampot, it's a tasty concoction of white wine, butter, garlic, and spicy cracked pepper. The snow crab was great, the scallops were seared and surprisingly flavorful, the mussels were a bit overcooked for my tastes, but the broth complemented them nicely. Eat at Joe's - and let Leo take care of you. :-)

First let me start by saying Food was great not discrediting the quality of it. Service was HORRIBLE, my server was Kassy rushed us pretty much pushed us too her liking of timing. First forgot a main item to my entree. Second brought out wrong beer i order, and finally to test her i asked her directly if this was the beer i order and lied to my face by saying "yes". So me being nice asked for another hoping for her to redeem herself but still brought the wrong one ....

We were seated immediately which is always nice. Service was good, no problem with that. We offered the Bean Town Bake for the two of us to share. Both lobster tails were mushy and over cooked. Sent them back for new ones. Same thing again, claws were good but tails were mushy. Didn't feel like complaining anymore so we paid our bill and left. We won't go back to that Joe's but will try a different one here in S.A.. besides the lobster tails everything was good. Its not a coincidence we received four bad tails so be weary if you get lobster at this one as the cooks don't know how to prepare them. I have always had good food at Joe's Crab Shack. I travel for my job and this is the ONLY Joe's where I have not had good food.
