This is the cheapest place to get batteries! I've been here many times and am very satisfied. Other than the place smelling like cigarettes, it's good. =)

Do not let anyone in this place open their mouth because they will either give you attitude or lie. Almost every word exchanged on the phone and in the building was a lie. I have waited over a year to write this review to give them time for their omen to come true. But they were so wrong and so incredibly rude, 15 months later I'm still mad enough at this place to take the time to write a review. My motorbike broke down not at home and I was in a bad spot with no tools or my meter. I usually am near a Kragen or "Battery Bills" (downtown Sac) who have always given me good battery service. This happened to be the closest place and I asked if my battery was dead, they insured me it was, I bought a new $120.00 battery and it turned out it was just a fuse on my bike. It was a hell of a time getting my battery back, it would take a page to list all the lies and poor customer service they gave. They promised my battery was bad. That old battery has since that day, started my (V-twin, 1000cc over 13:1 compression ratio) many hundreds of times, over the course of a year and over ten thousand commuting miles.... I DO NOT even baby my batter, it will sit for a month never being touched (not trickle charger), and still started up. and now it is finally taking multiple slow turns to get it to start, They were no help getting my stranded self home, or having any idea what customer service is, or even knowing what a "dead" battery looks like. And lied during the whole ordeal. Just for one example I called and someone said my old batter was being saved, then I come in and they say it got shipped out, when I start getting angry turns out it's just in the back room packed into a crate which would be they said "too hard for him to get our and too much liability to me to get out"... it was not hardly any trouble, and it went on and on.... In the end I did get my $$$ and battery back, or else this story would have ended worse. I've never had anyone lie so many times in a 24 hour period, ever in my life. (note, as of today, the Google pointer is too far south on Auburn Blvd by a could hundred yards.)
