The red knot is a species of bird that travels 19,000 miles from South America to the Arctic. They stop and feed in the Delaware Bay on horseshoe crabs, which are endangered. The shortened supply doesn't allow the birds to properly refuel on their journey which also makes them endangered.

Presidential candidates are planting staff in the Garden State. Last stop on a campaign for the history books.

And the Tony's make history. "Hamilton" may get top billing, but the Tony Award for the best regional theater goes to one of our own.

Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian announced the city made a $1.8 million bond payment and will continue to operate. He said he opposes the state takeover Gov. Christie and Senate President Steve Sweeney want and prefers a plan from Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto.
