When it comes to work, I have this philosophy: Work is life. Work = creativity. And I am constantly at work :] I am a Creator.
I work as a Freelance Graphic Web Designer for HarperCollins Children's Publishing and Epic Reads (2011-present) creating websites, landing pages, sweepstakes pages, digital art and advertising, customized newsletters and eBlasts, and images for social media.
From 2010-11, I worked as a Freelance Web Producer at Random House Children's Books in New Media Marketing designing newsletters, web banners, and producing websites. I also wrote marketing copy for ads and newsletters; copy edited web content, and served as an ad coordinator.

Maya is also the Editor-in-Chief of the DirtyDurty Diary in which I participated in being Web Contributor, Content Manager for the website's launch, and one of the final Proofreaders for the inaugural magazine in 2010.
In July 2010, I completed editing The Drunk Diet, a memior by Luc Carl, who is associated with Lady Gaga. His book has been published by St. Martin's Press and is in stores now.
