Writing Wednesday: Using “who” and “whom” can be confusing, so we have a tip that will make it much easier for you. The rule of thumb is to use “who” when referring to the subject of a clause—the person doing something—and “whom” when referring to the object—the person having something done to them. If a question can be answered with “he” (she, they, we, etc.), use “whom”—if it’s answered with “him” (her, them, us, etc.), use “who.”

Which one would you use for the question below? No peeking at the answer until you’ve given it your best shot!
