#Russia  energy production shows no sign of letting up
News Russian oil output approached a record in May, precedes meetings by OPEC this week promising major players might drop production. The global supply gut has caused prices to tumble worldwide so far this year, but Russia and Saudi Arabia are continuing to pump at record levels.

On Thursday June 4th Christie’s will auction a stunning selection of posters from the nostalgic eras of Russian cinema and politics. The highlight of this sale will be one of Russian cinema’s most iconic pieces of art from 1925, Anton Lavinsky’s Battleship Potemkin (estimate: £20,000-30,000).

This is the other side of Moscow that people do not see very often in posts here on Google+. Moscow  is a fascinating city in terms of history and the arts. The art history of Russia is so incredible and the treasures of  the country are beyond words.   Russia itself is so vast that it is amazing. With 12 time zones  and  land mass  that is 1.8 times the size of the US, Russia is huge. More about Russia in other posts. #russia   #moscow   PS. let us not forget that #SergeyBrin   co-founder of Google is Russian which I am sure that has a lot to do with Google's understanding of world cultures as his whole family is from Russia and highly educated in their respective fields of discipline.

So all of this new Cold War is probably over under the table business play?
The CEO of the Russian BUK manufacturer Almaz-Antey, Yan Novikov, has announced a lawsuit against the EU for unjustified sanctions against his firm in connection with the MH17 tragedy. Novikov claims that “the BUK 9M317 missile type employed by the Russian Armed Forces is out of the question here, as the shape of the fragments does not match the damage caused to the aircraft.”

Hackers from the group “Cyber-Berkut” have published what they say are private correspondence between Poroshenko and Soros. If genuine, they show how Soros is trying to weasel around the Minsk agreements. For instance, how to train Ukrainian soldiers without having a visible NATO presence in Ukraine: But this doesn’t mean Kiev won’t have access to top NATO military brass:

After the capture of two Russians operating in East Ukraine, Putin’s amendment to a list of state secrets is rather…suggestive. TASS has the details: Russian President Vladimir Putin has amended the list of state secrets, approved under a presidential decree of November 30, 1995. The corresponding document has been published on the official portal of official legal information.

Introduction
If you know me, you don't need this information do you? If not?

An author and consultant, I began exploring the web about the time Caesar commissioned it to be made. No seriously. I author several news columns, advise Internet companies, and analyze just about everything.

Check out Everything PR News, Argophilia Travel News, or the archives of some famous tech blogs - I've been around some. As you may be able to tell, I am not always comfortable talking about me. I am however, one of the world's great husbands and dads.

Having only had Hungarian cuisine at a few restaurants in the United States, and at a Hungarian friend's house here in Germany, this Schweich restaurant is now one of my favorites. One might think something like Goulash is easy to make, but I can tell you, the difference in between genuine and "thrown together" soups is vast. Super hospitable, and casual as can be, this local restaurant is a welcome addition to the normal Germany and Italian gastronomy we've grown used to. Try the Palinka here, if you are brave enough for the burn. Expect decent prices on a par with other local eateries. You won't go away hungry, the portions are massive here too.

My family and I arrived in Heraklion on a blustery day in March, 2014. A bit of a storm was blowing in from the sea, the airport was cool and windswept as you'd expect. On arriving at the Lato one of the first things that impressed us was how "apologetic" everyone was over the weather. Having arrived from Germany, the obvious warm for us, and the refreshing atmosphere, made us smile at what we later knew as "Filoxenia" - the Cretan love of travelers. The most spectacular view in the city, perfectly attentive staff, and especially the cuisine here, these and more aspects of the hotel impressed us all mightily. Guests we took to dinner were as impressed by the new chef and the wine selection. Finally, the best thing I took with me home was the memory of waking up, head on a crispy white pillow, staring out at the azure Cretan Sea and the Venetian Fortress. Life should always be like room service at Lato. And I've stayed at 1000 hotels.

Kevin basically rules South Florida condo sales. On top of this, he knows a thing or two about the web. This latter factor puts him about 500 light years ahead of his competition.

Brillant chef Zinonas Christofidis is a genius of creativity and presentation. Guests here can expect the full gourmet treatment, leaving off the pretension and price usually associated with the best gastronomy. This is a classy establishment that offers creative traditional Cretan cuisine. Ask for the hotel director's favorite wine suggestions, this alone will exceed your expectations for the place. I had the Lamb “soutzoukakia”, which is a kind of Greek meatball made with lamb, wheat, and fresh mint for a main - magnificent!
