I have a six minute video on an Ipad that I tried to e-mail to myself but can't! Does anyone know how to get that video off of the iPad?

Christa, if you have a paid Dropbox plan with plenty of capacity you can set all of the iPads to a single DB account and have them sync to that acct.  We use Configurator, as well, but regardless you will need to go onto each iPad, open the DB app, and manually register them to the same account.

I am fairly new to iPads in the classroom, and am finding that the Flash issue is quite a pain! Besides Photon, what other apps do you suggest to use that will allow websites that need flash on the iPads to work?
Thanks for your feedback!

What is your need. Search the App Store to find what you need.

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for an app similar to Educreations, however one that will allow me to insert a video clip instead of just pictures. I would like to create mini-lessons for my math students. For instance, I would like to insert a short video clip, say on finding the GCF, and then add my own notations, etc after the video. Does anyone do this with their iPads?

Is there a format painter option in Google Numbers? Also, what's up with no merging cells? Really? How are we supposed to survive?

There is format painter, it is the icon that looks like a paint roller in the icon menu 4th from the left.  And the merge cells is about the 16th icon from the left on the same menu

If you want to splurge $5, get Keynote. It is like PowerPoint and also works on iPhone. Also, if you have Office 365, download Microsoft PowerPoint for iPad.

Hi Everyone,
I am looking for an app that is similar to Educreations however will allow me to insert video clips instead of just pictures. I would like to post a small video clip on finding GCF's in math for instance, and then add my own notation either on the same page or on another page. Is there an app that I can purchase that allows me to make my own tutorials with imbedded video clips so I can share these mini-lessons with my students?
Thanks

I work for an elementary school and the admin has disabled the Google+ access due to our social networking restrictions. I do post things on Google+ that are school related and what to, at time, check to see if my questions have been answers. In order for me to do so, I have to log out of my work Gmail and into my personal Gmail. When you are on Google (for work let's say) and want to "add an account" (personal home Gmail let's say) so you can toggle back and forth, does anyone know if the work/site admin can see my personal Google password? I would really love to know!
Thanks!

If you are in the US ANYTHING you do on the corporate (school) network or computers is fair game for the boss. So say the Courts. You have no right to privacy on "the man's" network or gear. So if you're at work, or given a work computer to carry or install at home, PRESUME it is being monitored. Maybe it isn't, but ya' won't know until it is too late. And a word to the wise: if your employer has a social networking ban, and you violate it, you're in termination danger. They can trace your IP path even if they can't break encrypted traffic. They can also read your posts and determine if posted at work.

P.S. Don't presume using a cell phone on your own carrier is absolutely safe from monitoring. Calls, private. Data, maybe not at work.
