I visited the office of Dr. Steven E. Davis due to a sinus infection / inflammation that would not relent regardless of months of antibiotic treatments by my general practitioner. I found my experience with him to be exemplary. Not only did I feel welcomed by his friendly reception room staff, his exam room assistant staff tended to be proficient and delightfully accommodating. Dr. Davis seemed to know exactly what was going on with my condition and treated it with an expertise that allowed it to disappear within 6 weeks. What I liked about Dr. Davis's professionalism was that in addition to his expertise, he was able to listen patiently to my concerns about the condition and respond clearly with confidence about what the necessary procedure would be to resolve the issue. I left his office feeling I was well taken care of and would not hesitate to return.

This review is regarding my daughter's treatment to repair her eardrum. My daughter experienced pain when water hit her ears during summer vacation. We had her examined and found out that there were holes in her eardrums. This was because we had tubes put in to remedy her constant ear infections when she was younger. After consulting with Dr. Davis we understood that repairing the eardrum had a 99% success rate. She had the surgery on her left ear and when her hearing did not return. We were told their might be some scarring in her ear canal. Dr. Davis referred us to Dr. Friedman at the Ear House in Los Angeles. We thought it would be for a second procedure to clear her ear canal. Instead after some testing Dr. Friedman told us that our daughter would never hear again from her left ear. The reason being her cochlea was somehow damaged during surgery. The cochlea is the sense organ that translates vibration into nerve impulses that then go to the brain. If you look at a diagram of the human ear the eardrum is far away from the cochlea. We were told my another ENT doctor that the cochlea should not have been damaged during this procedure. After consulting with legal counsel we decided not to pursue legal action against Dr. Davis. My advise to other patients is do not undergo eardrum repair you could be in the 1% like our daughter and certainly don't have the procedure done by Dr. Davis.

I went to Dr. Davis because of sudden and very severe pain and swelling in the lower right side of my mouth. Dr. Davis saw me immediately, treated me successfully with pain killers and antibiotics, and I was back to normal in no time, though we knew the condition might recur. The condition recurred some months later and again Dr. Davis treated me with quick and total success, but this time he recommended surgery to remove the offending salivary gland, and I quickly agreed. The surgery was again totally successful, but, to our mutual surprise, the pathologist found a big STONE in the salivary gland which was probably behind the problem. This kind of surgery requires a long follow-up period and Dr. Davis was always right there, carefully examining me and answering all questions during appointments and by phone. His "earside manner" is tops and I found him to be a superb doctor in all respects. His top-of-the-line skill as a surgeon is obvious. There is a nerve right next to the salivary gland in question which is easy to damage and can cause facial and smile changes, but I have recovered totally normally and the problem has never recurred. In addition, Dr. Davis's nurses and staff are as friendly, upbeat and helpful as can be, and I have not always enjoyed that same kind of kindness from the staff in other doctors' offices. In a nutshell, A+ sums it all up!

First of all I must say my entire experience with Dr. Davis' office was all around an EXCELLENT service.. I have had breathing problems for years due to a deviated septum. I finally had to the time to get this matter resolved and man am I living so much happier and more comfortable. Dr. Davis is extremely thorough and got me in to do my surgery before my insurance expired. Stacey , Becky, and Erin are also the most genuinely nice people I have ever dealt with in the medical field, very pretty too!! If you have an issue that you have been waiting to handle, your experience at Dr. Davis' office will change your life for the better. Out patient procedure at the hospital was only a couple of hours and everyone there said I was in excellent hands. I only wish I could do it all over again, very comforting. Thank you Dr. Davis' office, you made me better!

I went to see Dr. Davis after being treated for a serious sinus infection by my general practitioner that was not going away. By the time I had seen him I had already been on 7 rounds of various antibiotics and steroids and I had not had a voice for 11 weeks. On my first visit, Dr. Davis took my history and did a detailed, thorough examination. I explained to him I had been on many rounds of antibiotics and was not looking for more, only results. He was patient in listening to me, but explained how important it was to continue a medication regimen to overcome this horrible infection that was not going away. I was not excited by more medication, but after a really aggressive 21 day antibiotic/steroid treatment, along with a B12 and Numovac vaccine, I was back on the road of recovery and finally felt good after a really long fall and winter cold season. In addition to him be a great doctor with a great beside manner, his staff is as wonderful as he is and will help in anyway that they can to make your experience with Dr. Davis the very best.
