John Howie's "outstanding", "upscale" seafooders are "definitely keepers" to admirers of his "stellar" takes on the "freshest" fin fare; though prices are "expensive", the oyster shucking and sushi making at the raw bars is a "show in itself", while "high-end service" and "airy", modern spaces filled with "swells" complete the package; P.S. Bellevue gets props for "power dinners", while the South Lake Union outpost is in an up-and-coming area.
Where to start? It must be the lemon drop martinis - icy cold, crisply executed, and citrusy divine. The night only got better - the sushi was amazing, with tightly rolled pieces, spicy seafood, and of course, outstanding presentation with over-sized pottery and intriguing sauces. The final act was the sea salt encrusted truffles... to die for. Seastar, you are a girl's best friend!
