True story.... I am not sure if i was asking Glen Garvin for help, soliciting an opion, needed a suggestion... more likely I was probably complaining about something and he sent me this video in response! I loved it!

Innovation is a hot topic.  And this is a great read about some of it's dangers.
(This article was also posted on The Tech Block.) Schools of design thought move back and forth like pendulums. Handmade vs. Mass-produced. Local vs. Global. Minimal vs. Expressive. Tradition vs....

Good post.  Ironically, I have never seen Innovation and Refinement as a "vs", but instead as an extension of a way of thinking that emphasizes solutions that are a complete thought... that address a customers need in a practical, creative, and easy-to-use way.  Perhaps its the use of my term "practical" that removes the "vs" from the equation.  Being creative or innovative just to be so is not a wise course of action.  It can often mean a waste of critical resources that can best be used elsewhere.  Being innovative in a way that practically applies resources can often mean "refinement" rather than a whole new product push.  Anyhow, those are my thoughts...

Everyone involved in creating Adaptive Websites should read this article.  Really dives into how content needs to drive your design choices

Separate mobile site, or responsive design? Don't take sides in the Nielsen-Clark debate: use top task analysis to find out what your users really want, says Christiaan Lustig

This is a very good read.  The conversation about not just shifting content but perhaps changing it depending on context.  In some ways it reminds me of the days when I used to work in politics doing GOTV.  I had a CRM that I worked with that would change messaging based on the demographics of the users... who they were, sex, interests, etc.  A very good article...

Google is on the same page we are: separate mobile sites are on their way out.  Responsively designed sites are the way to go, and our new Adaptive Website Platform is leading the way!

Just bought a CX-5 from Billy Keyes, and had a great experience from beginning to end. Everyone we worked with was honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. They tracked down the exact car we wanted and got it there quick. Couldn't be happier!
