I'm currently in #Senegal , researching about natural resource politics. It's incredibly interesting and I would love to publish an in-depth article about it.

If you would like to read it, please support my proposal on +contributoriahttps://www.contributoria.com/issue/2015-01/54661d6e6239e6c215000050

Contributoria is a crowdfunding platform for journalists with a twist. You can sign up for a free account and get 50 points to support proposals each month. If my proposal gets enough points, I'll get paid in hard currency to write the article and you get a nice piece of journalism. Win-Win!

So please take the two minutes and support my proposal.
It is supposed to be a bold, but attainable vision: Senegal, one of the world’s least developed nations, wants to become an emerging economy in only 20 years time. Key element of the government’s economic policy is the country’s natural resource sector. World class fishing grounds, a huge agricultural …

Should the #Congo  invest in mining or agriculture?
The Democratic Republic of the Congo is a rich land – in theory, at least. Below its soil lie some of the world’s largest reserves of copper, cobalt, tin, tantalum and considerable amounts of gold and diamonds. It is the type of wealth that is measured in billions of Dollars and which has fuelled the …

How can African governments tax resource exploitation more efficiently and fair? I'll find out in my latest contribution to +contributoria, if you give me the necessary votes:

Natural resources offer great potential for the development of #Africa, but for that to happen you need a working tax system. How should such a system be designed? Support my proposal on +contributoria and find out:
