Fantastic quick meal in Times Square that's not overpriced or grease laden. Menu is simple: falafel in a sandwich or falafel on a salad. Unlimited toppings from a decent but not expansive salad bar, plus a wide array of sauces. Service is prompt, falafel is crisp and light (no heavy or thick crust). Fries are a real surprise (get the mix of sweet potato and regular). Wish i didn't have to pay a $1 more for feta, but it was worth it.

Love the eggplant, hummus, and boiled egg sandwich. Always tastes great. Quick, affordable, very filling. Love the fried cauliflowers (free topping). The bag is foil-lined and rigid, keeps the food warm and in place.

This is such a great spot for a quick bite! The falafels were perfectly crispy and the free self serve toppings were plentiful and delicious (though should have included hummus instead of the $1 extra charge). Better than even Amsterdam Falafel in DC? Quite possibly!

I had my first Maoz experience in Amsterdam a few years ago - so I was more than thrilled to stumble across this location on a recent trip to NYC. It was everything I remembered in my falafel dreams and babaganoush fantasies - is that weird? Anyhow, this is the top of the top for "fast casual" in my book and healthy to boot. The service was great, friendly and quick, as expected in a setting like this. The food was as yummy as I remember and edible on the go on the busy streets of NYC. I can't wait to visit again!

I had a LevelUp credit at this place, so I tried it for lunch. It was so good that I had to go back. For six bucks you get a pita (whole wheat or white) stuffed with falafel and lettuce. You can also get a salad. From there, the world is yours, with fillings from cabbage, cole slaw, olives, pickles, carrots, garbanzo beans, cucumber salad, spicy onions, tabbouleh, chili pepper sauce, and tahini. And the veggies aren't dry. They are marinated in something and tossed. Delicious. I will go here for lunch again.

What can I say? IM ADDICTED! I come here for lunch and get the Junior Sandwich because I can fill up on fillings to my heart's content! My top filling is the FRIED cauliflower, because I think it is the best. thing. ever. I also like my sauce triumvirate - Garlic Sauce + Tahini Sauce + Spicy (not the chimichurri). Aaah. Thanks to Maoz, I can trick myself into some healthy lunching so I can balance it out with a cupcake.
