"I find myself feeling strangely uncomfortable when people call me a generalist and imagine that to be a compliment.  My standard response is that I am actually an extremely narrow, hidebound specialist. I just look like a generalist because my path happens to cross many boundaries that are meaningful to others, but not to me. [...]"

Elsevier, Macmillan, McGraw-Hill, Pearson all support SOPA. Scholars, technologists & researchers, you should all reconsider why you choose to let these people take your publicly-funded work, lock it up behind a pay-wall, charge you for the privilege of accessing it, and then use that money to take away your freedoms.

I need a database of film titles in different languages (at least English and Spanish, other languages are a plus). As far as I know, I have the following options:

- IMDb: Has downloadable titles in English and some other languages, but not Spanish. No online API. Scraping it in languages different than English seems too much hassle.
- TMDb: Online API. Contains alternative titles but their language is not specified.
- DBPedia: Contains a great number of film titles (as well as other information) in different languages. Has an online SPARQL API and is downloadable. However, setting up a local copy looks overcomplicated.
- LinkedMDB: Similar to DBPedia but only for films. Does not contain titles in different languages, but data is linked to DBPedia, IMDb and others.

I need to have stored locally, at least, film titles. Do you have any suggestion about other available datasets/API? Or hints about the ones I mentioned?

Thank you!
