All my enabled smart home skills are currently reporting as offline. When I ask for Alexa to operate a device, she reports as "Sorry, the device XYZ is not responding."

Looks like others are reporting the same..."Alexa is having issues since 9:08 PM EDT."

I just submitted a Feedback Request to Amazon for the Alexa, if you also see the use in this request, please also submit a similar request:

My request is for a second button on the Smart Home Device List, "Ignore". This will tell Alexa I've chosen to ignore this device, and do NOT auto-discover this smart device, unless I click "Don't Ignore" or the like.

USE CASE: My Ecobee thermostat is connected to Alexa, but also to my Wink Hub to leverage the ecobee remote sensors within my smart home, for triggering home fan circulation and venting. Alexa keeps auto-discovering the ecobee thermostat on the Wink Hub even after I click "Forget" the device. Having the ecobee thermostat listed twice within Alexa's Smart Home Devices causes issues when querying Alexa for my ecobee's temperate, "Alexa, what's the temperature in my Home?". The ecobee connected via the Wink Hub cannot answer this query, and I get a failure message from Alexa.

I wanted to share a tutorial I created that details how to seamlessly interface X10 home automation equipment with the Echo. http://coreyswrite.com/tips-tricks/amazon-echo-x10-home-control/ Essentially, I used a Raspberry Pi with the following installed: Heyu, Apache/PHP and a ha-bridge (Home Automation Bridge) to control my X10 equipment. Details are in my post.

The ha-bridge also allows Vera Equipment, Harmony Hubs or any addressable URL control systems to seamlessly interface with the Echo. The ha-bridge is packaged as a java (.jar) file that can be run on a Mac/PC, Linux box, NAS or Raspberry Pi. It has a slick web interface to manage your connected equipment. It automatically finds your configured Vera or Harmony equipment on your network in the control interface, allowing for easy integration.
