Be kind to yourself.
Self-critique is important for growth as long as you commit to being fair with yourself. Constant negative self-assessments lead to low self-esteem, which in turn lead to acts of self-sabotage.

Technology entertains us, distracts us, teaches us, empowers us...but more importantly it brings us together.  Happy Valentines Day!

Valerie Jarrett is Senior Adviser to the President and Chair of the White House Council on Women and Girls. As it turns out, you don't have to be a political wonk to have a policy discussion. And that's the way it should be.

Would be interesting to see an ontology for the rationale behind one's choice of behavior, such as. I behave at this level of ethics because it is good for me because i fear ... Punishment, scarcity, etc

I have a couple of Elizabeth's painting - I love her use of form and color. she was my teacher and her work inspires deep reflection and sometimes a bit a humor.

The Tree Frog Night Inn is unique and wonderful. Pictures don't really do it justice. The facilities are first rate and the hosts are gracious and charming. The food is organic and delicious. Every detail is attended to - absolutely the best B&B I've been to. This is not a bedroom or old barn converted to a B&B, it was built to be a small inn. Spa services are availble, it has a sauna, hot tub and jacuzzi. Each unit has a semi-private porch if you want to sit and read. It's quiet, yet only 10 minutes from town and there is lots of shopping, nature and art in the area. I'm making it my regular little get-a-way spot. Highly recommend it, but secretly, don't want anyone to know about it so it's easy to get in.
