I love the atmosphere, and especially the fact that they have a dog patio complete with water bowls for your four-legged companions. The repair garage motif is charming, complete with a lifted classic pickup above the bar. They have several vegan and vegetarian options, including two pages of their menu dedicated to these tasty selections. Vegan options are indicated by a blue heart, whereas vegetarian options are denoted by a leaf. One of the really nice things about their menu, when it comes to vegan options, is that they specify that some items are NOT vegan("Our cornbread is not vegan"), and if you order certain items they tell you how to make it vegan ("Ask for a vegan roll"). I found the full order of seitan wings to be a bit expensive for the number of "wing" chunks you get, but they were delicious. The vegan chipotle gravy is amazing, especially when paired with their fries. It's a shame their mashed potatoes aren't vegan, though. The pulled seitan sandwich is decent, though you shouldn't expect it to be anything like bbq pulled pork or jackfruit...instead it's more like strips of tempeh in texture, not unlike Tofurky's tempeh bacon, but it's definitely a tasty dish. My biggest complaint is that while they have a portion of their menu dedicated to the veggie options, it seems that they are vegetarian-friendly and vegan-tolerant. With a little tweaking of their menu & recipes, they could have nearly as many vegan options as they do vegetarian. That being said, they are becoming a fairly regular dining spot for when my wife and I are in Pittsburgh.

Great bar and grill off the path from all the normal Carson Street affair. Great beer selection with quality food options to mix. I'll definitely be going back. FYI Costco has some great gift cards for here if you are a regular.

It was my first time eating their.I wanted steak nd mash potatoes the waitress said no garlic mash potatoes till after 5.So i asked for ny other mash potatoes. Waitress said no.The Waitress then says we have no pasta dinners at all till after 3.So i ordered burger nd ff with onion gravy. When my food arrived,I got ff that were hard nd burnt, the gravy wasnt gravy ,it was their own sauce nd very hot nd spicy.I cant have ny thing spicy.I ended up with alot of heart burn their. They charged me $2.99 for ff $1.99 for onions nd mushrooms on my burger, nd $1.99 for gravy. They took off the bill onions nd gravy nd mushrooms.I ordered a Strawberry da query. That was terrible,so my drink nd burger still cost me$ 20.00 They have no sides cheap mixures for alcohol nd food was nasty nd over charged.Alot of other customers weee also complaining about their chicken wings being too small nd not enough for what they charge.I know my family nd i will never return, also it was a dinner that my youngest son saved up to take me to eat for mothers day.Never again thank you lisa

Double Wide Grille is a great place to go with a larger group of people, and there is an outdoor patio that is dog friendly (and one that is not). I go there on occasion for wing night because they offer Seitan wings alongside the normal selections. The pricing is most definitely reasonable, however, the food is lacking in consistency and it becomes to feel like a game of roulette. I would recommend Double Wide to anyone wanting a fun night out with a few friends (and a few more beers).

Food was better than we expected. Has tons of outdoor seating and is situated in an old gas station. Had the pittsburgh style Rueben and was very happy with it.
