Wonderful experience! The food is incredibly delicious and the service is spot on. I highly recommend anyone looking for fine dining comparable to some of the nicest Boston restaurants try 80 Thoreau.

top ingredients- often locally sourced, creatively combined, and artfully presented- make for an outstanding new american dining experience. the only surprise is finding oneself in suburban concord instead of downtown.

i really don't like the front room with the bar; to me, the place to be is in the room where you can see the kitchen. that part hops. the food can be very good, indeed. service has been mixed.

Disclosure: My boyfriend and I attended a blogger dinner here; the meal was complimentary. 80 Thoreau is a beautifully designed space completely hidden inside a lackluster commercial building near the train station. Once we found our way in, we were impressed. The service was outstanding (but again, this was a blogger dinner, so I can't vouch for service on a regular evening), and we enjoyed all of the food. Of particular excellence: the house-made tagliatelle with lamb ragout (which interestingly had a butter and fennel sauce rather than something tomato-heavy) and the grilled quail (which came with a side of bulgur wrapped up delightfully in a crispy crepe).

beautiful restaurant in the heart of concord. the farm-to-table concept is showcased with every dish and especially during my most favorite time of year, the fall. i can not wait to go again.

We heard such good things for this new restaurant and it is always booked, however, as with most restaurants in Concord, they start strong but quickly fade. The Ambiance is nice and modern; very clean. The owners spent a lot of time on the decor. The food was just ok. My wife, daughter and sister-in-law never finished our meals. The sauces were over-spiced, the side dishes were stale and undercooked. Overall, it was NOT worth the price.
Liked: Service, Atmosphere
Disliked: Food, Value
