Introduction
I'm a student doing a Masters at the London School of Economics with a passion for coffee. When i'm not buried in books in the library, I spend my time finding the best independent coffee shops in London and learning more about my favourite drink. I set up Lyndon's Coffee in September 2012 and have been blogging about London's coffee culture ever since.

ook mum no hands! is a Mecca for cyclists in London, many of whom happen to have a penchant for good coffee. The shop is adorned with cycling memorabilia and whenever there is cycling on TV, you can bet your bottom dollar that it will be shown on their big projector screen. There's also a workshop in the cafe with two mechanics there to fix any problems with your bike. To be honest, I'm not a massive cyclist but it's great being around such enthusiasts. More importantly their Square Mile coffee is good and while they are not as passionate about coffee as they are about bikes (that would be a pretty difficult feat) they are on track to being up there with the best. Bea's of Bloomsbury knows its cake, creating fantastic flavour combinations to tempt those with a sweet tooth. I decided to go for a cupcake and it was delicious, probably one of the best I have ever had, come to think about it. They serve Square Mile Coffee and while the coffee is good, it is the cake that take centre stage. This is more of a cafe than a coffee shop so if it’s just a coffee you’re after I would recommend another of London's wonderful coffee shops. Consult Lyndon's Coffee for more info!

Long White Cloud serve Monmouth coffee which unsurprisingly (the co-founder is a kiwi) is very good. It's not just the coffee that impresses as the food is also delicious. I opted for mushrooms in a garlic sauce for Sunday brunch and it was excellent. Consult Lyndon's Coffee for more info!

Le Péché Mignon is a cute French cafe which is an absolute must if you live in the area and love French culture, or if you're French and feeling a bit homesick. After all, London is France's 6th biggest city. You can come and enjoy a tasty croissant and some Monmouth Coffee or just pop in and pick up some of the essentials they stock "from wine and cheese to charcuterie and olive oil." The very popular Fleet River Bakery was set up 3 and a half years ago. The manager, Lucy, informed me that 90% of the customers she sees are regulars. That should give you an idea of the quality of the place. Consult Lyndon's Coffee for more info!
